Who's behind Hungry Tum

Hungry Tum was built by the founders of Wing Shack — a food business that began as a restaurant and grew into a network of kitchens across the UK. We built the platform we wished we'd had, then opened it up to other food businesses.

Hungry Tum was founded by Jarvis and Nigel.

Our story

Hungry Tum started with a restaurant. We opened a wings brand in Essex and grew it — first into more restaurants, then into delivery kitchens, and now a kitchen network across the UK. Along the way we learned how hard it is to make good money in food: thin margins, high delivery-app fees, and suppliers who save their best prices for the big chains. We tried the tools out there. None of them ran the whole business, so we built our own.

Our mission

To build the largest network of licensed kitchens and food brands in the world — where everyone in the network earns more by being part of it than they would on their own.
